Dr. Mary J. Ruwart is the most qualified Libertarian to represent the party as our national standard bearer.
- Of all the known potential candidates for 2012 Mary is the one person who has the combination of gravitas, long-term Libertarian credentials, and the ability to communicate Libertarian positions, even those that the Reform Coalition is (ashamed of??/embarrassed by??) in sound-bytes that can accurately express our views and sell them convincingly to any open minded person.
- The events of the Democratic campaign this year have elevated the credibility of women as candidates for the highest offices, have created a hunger and opened wounds among millions of women who have come so far for so long in their support of the first major female candidate for the White House only to be frustrated in the end with a very near miss. These emotions can be channeled by the right woman candidate. When the right woman candidate is able to communicate the strengths of the Libertarian party for women there is a potential to capture millions of votes very quickly. There is a potential to start a movement that cannot be stopped.
- Mary Ruwart has the maturity, judgment, and intellectual depth to be as good a President as she is a candidate. She is Libertarians' best hope, she is womens' best hope, she is America's best hope for real change in government, from the top on down.
