Libertarian Economic Stimulus Strategies ____________________________________________________________
How's This for a Stimulus Check? Two TRILLION Dollars? Why Not Just Give Back all Taxes Collected Since Day One? Well, how about it?
A while back, when the price tag for the bailout was a mere $750 Billion, there was
a viral email making the rounds-- you probably received a version of
it-- that said if the government just divided up the "bailout" and sent
each adult citizen their share, it would be six figures. Unfortunately
original writer is not so good at simple math. More like low four
figures. More
Unfortunately, this person got me all excited about
the prospect of getting enough money to pay off my mortgage. Once I get
something in my head, I can't get rid of it. So now I'm on a crusade.
If the banks and brokerage houses can get a bailout, it's time to give
the taxes back. The government obviously has too much money. So I want
every one of you to do what I'm going to do. Write your Congressperson
and Senators and demand a refund of all taxes paid by you since you
were old enough to pay taxes. I don't care how they get the money. Let
them print the money if they have to. But I want my taxes back. I want
you to have your taxes back.
I guarantee, that whether they
had to borrow the money from China, print new money, hold a government
garage sale-- whatever-- there would not be a Depression, Recession, or
any other ession. There would be a huge boom in our economy.
If
you don't know Representative and Senators' contact information, get ready to Google your
surrogates in Washington and demand that refund. Don't relent. Keep
asking every day until you get it. It worked for Wall Street didn't it? Tell 'em you're too small to fail.

To put things in perspective: How much is a Trillion?
One billion seconds = 34 days
One trillion seconds = 30 years
