Reducing Government to Basics, Simplifying Laws

Why should soccer moms, NASCAR Dads, ordinary citizens care about boiling government down to the bare minimum, to the basics?

The more simplicity there is in government, in our legal code, the more we boil things down to the essentials, the basics, the less interference there is in everyone's life. Why should one have to have a law degree to understand any or all laws? Why are laws and legislation written in a way only a lawyer can understand? Why are there so many laws and regulations that it takes millions or billions of dollars just to manage law creation, enforcement, interpretation?

If everything is boiled down to protections against fraud and force, a person can understand our laws as simply as a Christian can understand faithful decision making by asking What Would Jesus Do? If one asks that question, it isn't necessary to be a theologian, BIblical scholar or ordained minister to know what is wrong, right, what to do if one wants to be a good Christian. If everyone asks themselves is this a use of force-- are we taking away someone's liberty to accomplish our goals? Is this a fraud-- are we using deception in some form to accomplish our goals?  Or, even more simply-- are we benefiting from hurting someone else? We can understand all one needs to understand about what should and could be the essence and totality of a much reduced and simplified legal code in the United States, or any Libertarian government.

So what's in it for you? Simplicity, a clear, limited and understandable legal system, a government that is lean, shorn of needless beaurocracy, government is out of your way and you are free to create the life you want to create with no interference. Your only limits are your ability to dream and act to fulfill your dreams!
